Things you need to know about Philippine Roofing before buyingALL BASES ARE MADE IN CHINA - the origin or make of colored sheets does not matter. The brand does not matter, quality is the same. The only process done in the Philippines is painting, which is the least important of the three components (metal, galvanize, paint) in prolonging the lifespan of the product.
UNDERSIZED PRODUCTS - Always do measure the roof's thickness using a caliper before paying. Undersized roofs is a common practice in the country. CHECK FLEXIBILITY - If the material is hard, it is bad. Hard materials are brittle and are easily cracked. Look for flexible materials that disperse force. GLOSS - We sell both glossy and non glossy roof. Primary reason is that gloss fades well before a year of installation. Gloss is there for it to look better on purchase. |

STEP 3: ROOF TRUSSES
A truss is an assembly of beams or other elements that creates a rigid structure. In engineering, a truss is a structure that consists of two-force members only, where the members are organized so that the assemblage as a whole behaves as a single object. A two-force member is a structural component where force is applied to only two points. Although this rigorous definition allows the members to have any shape connected in any stable configuration, trusses typically comprise five or more triangular units constructed with straight members whose ends are connected at joints referred to as nodes.
A roof truss is a structural framework of designed to bridge the space above a room and to provide support for a roof. Trusses usually occur at regular intervals, linked by longitudinal members such as purlins. |
